[Currently climbing on and pecking at both the screen and the person behind it, is a torchic. More importantly, the one behind doesn't look all too happy.  Not just for the torchic pecking his arm and trying to rip his hakama.]

Ow--  Is there any way to get this thing to stop?  It won't leave me alone!  I understand it's mine now, but, really, does that mean it's necessary to destroy my clothes?

And, furthermore...

[Just then, an ekans drapes itself over his lap and opens its mouth towards the torchic - which then lets out a squawk and scrambles on top of Kira's head.]

...furthermore, should this one really be trying to eat it, and is there a way to make that stop?  At least, that's what it seems to be doing...or maybe it's only trying to scare it?  It seems too lazy to be a hunter...

Ah, anyway, Abarai, if you're here, we still have a match, I'm holding you to it!  Don't decide you're too afraid of my great swordsmanship and pretend you've forgotten, or that you're not here, I'll find out!  You know how it ends when you pit your intelligence against mine!

... purpose? Well, um... They're where you keep and capture your Pokemon. It's pretty much the most important function out of everything you get here, outside of the gear.

Capture them? Why would I want to do that when two is already annoying?

Ah, well, it's not so surprising, it's likely whoever organises these things realised my ability and decided to grant an extra.
